What are desiccant air dryers used for?

Desiccant air dryers are used for drying compressed air in industrial environments where dry air is needed to facilitate the operation of pneumatic tools and equipment.

Desiccant air dryers work on the principle of moisture from compressed air being absorbed by desiccant material and it gets trapped within the porous structure. Once the desiccant material reaches a point of saturation, it needs to be regenerated.
